Supporting Access to Ako Aotearoa Resources

Ako Aotearoa has made a significant contribution to tertiary education in Aotearoa New Zealand, developing a rich body of research, guides, tools, and sector insights. While Ako Aotearoa’s operations have now concluded, its online resources will remain available on ako.ac.nz until 31 December 2026.

To help sustain access to this valuable body of work, FLANZ is pleased to provide a gateway to the majority of Ako Aotearoa’s resources. These publications, developed through Ako Aotearoa‑funded projects, continue to offer research‑informed guidance to support teaching and learning across the tertiary system.

FLANZ’s mission to support high‑quality, future‑focused, flexible learning aligns closely with the principles that shaped Ako Aotearoa’s work. Resources are provided in their original form to preserve their integrity and context. While some materials may reference earlier policy or organisational settings, their insights remain highly relevant.

We invite educators, learning designers, researchers, and others working across tertiary education to explore and continue drawing on this important national resource, helping to sustain evidence‑informed practice and sector knowledge into the future.
