There are five categories of membership:

  • Individual Membership: Anyone working with flexible learning approaches (including open, distance, online, blended and hybrid models) within any educational sector.
  • Student Membership: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in the fields of flexible education.
  • Institutional Membership: Organisations, including non-profits, teaching institutions (tertiary), governmental organisations engaged in supporting flexible learning practices.
  • School Membership: Early childhood centres, primary, intermediate and secondary schools within New Zealand.
  • ODLAA Members are automatically granted access to the membership benefits of FLANZ on application. They must simply enter the code issued by the ODLAA Secretariat for free membership at FLANZ.

We are currently reviewing membership for tertiary institutions and school, as well as partnership opportunities available to other educational organisations.
