FLANZ 2026 Conference: He Tāngata, in association with ODLAA

The Flexible Learning Association of New Zealand (FLANZ), in partnership with ODLAA, invites submissions for FLANZ Conference 2026: He Tāngata. 7–9 October 2026 | Otago Polytechnic | Ōtepoti Dunedin.

Conference Theme

The theme, he tāngata (the people) draws on the understanding that education is about our people. This conference will showcase the sector’s achievements in understanding and improving the way people engage, and how education technologies can be used effectively when educators and learners are separated by space or time.

With technology now at the heart of distance, online and blended learning, it is through events such as the FLANZ Conference 2026: He Tāngata, that we look beyond what we currently know in order to respond to the expectations of our future learners, educators and policy makers.
