We’re excited to announce the FLANZ 2026 Conference: He Tāngata, a national gathering bringing together education practitioners, and innovators from across Aotearoa ad Oceania, this conference offers a unique opportunity to explore how we design, deliver, and support learning in a rapidly evolving environment.

This year’s theme recognises that while technologies, systems, and policies continue to shift, it is people, ākonga, kaiako, and whanau, who remain central to meaningful learning experiences. The conference will explore how we can strengthen connection, equity, innovation, and quality in flexible learning contexts. Attendees can expect a dynamic and engaging programme, including keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and practitioner-led sessions. Topics will span digital transformation, assessment innovation, academic integrity, learner engagement, and the thoughtful integration of emerging technologies such as AI. 

Whether you are involved in learning design, teaching, assessment, leadership, or policy, FLANZ 2026: He Tāngata offers a space to connect with peers, challenge thinking, and contribute to sector-wide conversations. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the innovation and collaboration that defines flexible learning in Aotearoa.
