The FLANZ 2021 Conference, in association with Massey University, invites submission of Referenced and Postgraduate papers by 30 November 2020.
Presenters requiring support in the submission process can contact Alison Fields, alison@infosolutions.co.nz for advice in creating their paper.
A Referenced Paper
- Can be research/evidence based, theoretically based, or a significant literature review related to any of the conference sub themes.
- Is reviewed as part of the selection process
- Is a total of 2,500 words including a 250 word abstract.
Best Referenced Paper recognition
All Referenced Papers will be entered for the Best Referenced Paper Certificate, presented at the conference. This award is for the paper that best represents innovative work closely related to the conference themes.
A Postgraduate Paper:
- Is for enrolled postgraduate students only (enrolled at time of submission).
- Can be research/evidence based, theoretically based, or a significant literature review related to any of the conference sub themes.
- Is reviewed as part of the selection process
- Is a total of 2,000 words including a 250 word abstract.

Presenters with accepted submissions from the postponed FLANZ 2020 conference are asked to make contact with kwongnui.sim@aut.ac.nz to confirm inclusion in the programme.

The conference focus on flexible learning aims to illuminate learning and teaching research and inquiry that steps beyond the expectations of a 21st century learner.

Flexible Pathways is about transitions and the challenges of bridging those transitions for learners: transitions within learning pathways, across sectors, and between sectors.
Registration for FLANZ 2021 Conference
Presenters are encouraged to register early. Presenters have the option of presenting remotely, presenting via satellite venue, or presenting from the primary venue in Wellington.
