An exciting opportunity for an Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer to lead research and teaching in e-Learning/Technology Enhanced Learning at the University of Canterbury.
This appointment is evidence of the commitment of the College and the University to continuing growth in research, teaching and service in this area. Applicants will have a proven record in e-Learning and Digital Pedagogies, with an earned Doctorate and be keen to join our renowned e-Learning Research Lab led by Distinguished Professor Niki Davis and Associate Professor Julie Mackey. Demonstrated teaching excellence is also required.
Expertise in other teaching and research areas relevant to the School of Educational Studies and Leadership would be advantageous:
- education futures
- tertiary / higher education
- educational assessment
- social justice and equity
Candidates will be expected to:
- Lead research projects in their specialist area(s), including support of collaborators
- Supervise postgraduate research students
- Lead and contribute to teaching, including flexible learning options nationwide and overseas
- Lead course, programme and organisational development
