Global Perspectives on Online Teacher Education – open call for chapters

This book invites teachers, teacher educators, researchers, administrators, and policymakers to explore online teacher education and engage in critical conversations about enhancing teacher education in virtual settings.

Chapters can be empirical or theoretical. All submissions should focus on online teacher education and one of five themes:

  • Online and blended learning in online teacher education
  • Technology integration and digital pedagogies in online teacher education
  • AI and learning analytics in online teacher education
  • Professional learning and reflective practice in online teacher education
  • Equity, inclusion and global perspectives in online teacher education


 Submission Process

  1. Submit a 500-word abstract through the Microsoft Forms link by 28 November
    2025.
  2. If accepted, contributors will be notified by 17 December 2025.  
  3. Full chapters are due by April 2026.
  4. Chapters will undergo editorial review before publication.
