The Journal of Open, Flexible and Distance Learning (JOFDL) is the flagship journal of FLANZ.

Academic journals rely entirely on their community of practice, a shared commitment to quality research and scholarship. JOFDL is no exception; we require as many qualified and interested reviewers as possible.

  • If you are a reader but not yet a reviewer, please consider logging on at JOFDL website and completing your profile to include yourself as a reviewer.
  • Remember that the professional development that comes with providing reviews is of immense benefit to those new to academia. If you have PhD students or junior colleagues working in the field of OFDL, please share this post with them and encourage them to register.

We also benefit from having reviewers who have completed their profiles with their areas of research interest to more easily identify potential reviewers for submissions.

  • We currently have 140 reviewers registered with the journal. Most, but not all, have completed their role profile and included their research interests. If you are one of those who have not, please log on and do so today.

It is also of significant professional self-interest that reviewers register and include their ORCID profile on the journal website. 

  • JOFDL is fully integrated into the ORCID network. If you already have an ORCID ID please ensure that it is linked to your JOFDL profile. If you don’t have an ORCID profile, and you undertake any form of scholarship, please consider registering today to create your ORCID iD.
